The Syracuse CHARGERS Rowing Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the sport of rowing in our community, is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to fill the role of Treasurer. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial management role.
Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and organized, with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

Oversee all financial activities of the club, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
Manage all club funds, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including member dues, event fees, and vendor invoices.
Prepare financial statements and reports for the Board of Directors and membership.
Assist with fundraising efforts and grant applications.
Stay up-to-date on relevant non-profit accounting practices.
Work collaboratively with other officers and board members to ensure the financial health of the club.
